TORK Workshop : How does a green office improve the employee experience without compromising legal obligations?

Organized by Tork

The health crisis has acted as a catalyst for change in personal and professional habits, and employees' expectations regarding their workspace have evolved.
They have higher expectations for the work environment and for sustainable office solutions.
To stand out today is essential to put the office and the well-being of its occupants back at the heart of activities.

  • How can you show your employees your values in terms of sustainable development?
  • How can recycled paper towels allow your company to participate in a French circular economy solution and reduce your carbon footprint, and increase your recyclability rate?
  • How can you engage your employees and partners to achieve your CSR objectives?
  • Make legislation an opportunity to improve your employer brand and increase employee retention

These are key issues for an eco-responsible company today.

During our workshops, we will discuss the economic benefits of these practices, how to anticipate changes in legislation as a success factor and how to act together in a concrete way to improve the user experience at the office.

Come and join us for an innovative exchange with our panel of experts: end customer, cleaning service provider, collector and CSR manager.

Continuous and/or daytime work: an economic and societal issue at the territorial level

For 15 years, FEP has supported the development of continuous and/or daytime working wherever possible and desirable for all stakeholders.
The improvement of employees' living conditions (family life, transportation) and the opportunity to deliver more efficient services "in real time" and therefore the improvement of the working conditions of service beneficiaries, make this a real challenge for the territories.
In partnership with local authorities and with the support of the FEP and Fare Propreté, local initiatives have been launched to create a knock-on effect.
Here is an overview of these experiences, the challenges and prospects, and a presentation of the resources made available to companies and customers by Le Monde de la Propreté on this subject.

"Cleanliness in use": towards ever more flexible services?

The theme of "user-driven cleaning" has emerged in recent years, with the intuitive idea of cleaning services that adapt to users' real needs in an optimized service logic (rather than that of a systematic and recurring service). However, behind this generic expression, there are sometimes very different acceptances of this notion.
The FEP has conducted a study on this subject, which has made it possible to identify the reality of the various forms of so-called "on-demand" intervention and to adopt a certain number of recommendations to ensure that these practices develop in the interest of all stakeholders by allowing for the optimization of customer satisfaction as well as of the intervention and working conditions of companies and their agents.
What are the best practices identified today in this area?

Public purchasing: the challenges of adapting to our sector of activity

Every year, more than 2,000 public contracts for waste management are published and it is clear that the specifications are not always adapted. Taking into account the particularities of the service professions, taking into account the specificities of our sector, such as the takeover of personnel, are all issues that are not yet sufficiently taken into account, while at the same time the specifications are becoming increasingly dense. At a time when "responsible purchasing" is increasingly being promoted, how can we better understand these issues and how can we have the tools to dialogue with stakeholders in order to create a better balance and take into account the specificities of our sector?

TORK Workshop : How can you improve the attractiveness of your offices with connected devices?

Organized by Tork

IoT sensors have become key in the operational and energy management of its buildings. Their evolution and the development of occupants' needs make them essential tools today, as they provide data that allows a better understanding of the physical environment, flows and consumption. They also enable decisions to be made that improve the occupants' experience, contribute to the attractiveness of the office and to the employer brand.

Which sensors are essential to improve the occupant experience?

  • Are they reliable?
  • How can they be optimized?
  • Who needs to own these tools?

We will answer these questions in our workshop with our panel of experts: end-user, cleaning service provider, hygiene solution, and software publisher.

SAPPI BIOCHEMTECH Workshop : The use of natural materials for the development of solid and sustainable detergents

In this workshop, I'm going to introduce you to Valida, a natrual cellulose produced by pure mechanical processing.

Valida is fibrillated cellulose, and can be best visualized as a micro tree, containing many branches and roots. Valida has an extremely large surface area, and this is why we can create a durbal 'paper' out of it containing ingredients associated with detergents.

The paper is easy to dissolve in water, releasing the ingredients to become active during the washing cycle.

Additionally, Valida can separate incompatible ingredients from each other, opening up the possibility to formulate combined products which are normally not compatible with each other.

I would love to explain in more detail at Europropre.

They are professionals that we would never want to have to call upon, but whom we are happy to be able to count on in case of hard times. For an efficient and responsible use of digital data in the cleaning sector

The increasing production of digital data, in the context of or in parallel with cleaning services and related services, offers new opportunities to optimize services for the benefit of end users, but also raises questions about what can be done in terms of collection, processing, analysis, access and transfer of data that may be of a personal nature, in the context of the RGPD. After the production of a best practice guide on the use of digital data, FEP and its client stakeholders are committed to efficient and responsible practices in this area. Cleaning company, your mission: To be the expert in the maintenance of hygiene and the fight against the transmission of diseases in tertiary environments and places receiving the public

The health crisis has highlighted the need for employees of service sector companies and occupants (employees, clients, users) of establishments open to the public or transport to have safer and healthier premises with reinforced hygiene conditions adapted to the health situation. The 4th National Health and Environment Plan reminds us that, in order to protect human, animal and environmental health, it is necessary to adopt a reasoned approach to the use of disinfectants in order to limit their dispersion in the environment and prevent the imbalance of ecosystems and the appearance of resistance phenomena.
How should cleaning companies address this issue and strengthen their expertise in this area?

Training, attractiveness and employment: a major challenge for the cleaning sector

Is the problem of the attractiveness of the cleaning professions a fatality?
The problem of attractiveness in the cleaning industry is not new, but it is becoming a major issue today, with thousands of vacancies in companies, an age pyramid that is getting older and a strong demand from companies for work-study programs. However, this labor-intensive sector has undeniable advantages: diversity of professions, variety of working environments, technical skills, career development, etc., which are still not sufficiently valued.
So how can we overcome this problem of attractiveness? How can we rethink our recruitment and loyalty strategy? Are employer branding and new managerial approaches an answer? Our round table will demonstrate that this problem of attractiveness is not inevitable and that levers for action are possible ....
